In over 30 years of working in human services, Wendy has had the opportunity to learn and grow in a variety of roles that support a holistic model of health and personal development. Her experience has included leadership\management positions as a department director in a not-for-profit organization, and team leader\program coordinator. Through service delivery roles in early learning education and youth development, Wendy has had the opportunity to work extensively with newcomer families and be part of their integration as newcomers to Canada.

Throughout her career, Wendy has worked together with community partners in the development of successful family support programs that focus on diversity and wellness and are based on current research and best practices. She has also been engaged in supervision activities, building collaborative relationships with funding partners, and grant proposal writing.

When she is not working, Wendy stays up to date on best practices in child/youth development and diversity through community volunteering. She loves hanging out with her family, especially her granddaughters, working on her daily yoga practice and spending time in her garden.
