Ethically Based Practice
The clinicians at NeuroThrive Networks are guided by principles of ethical practice as prescribed by the College of Alberta Psychologists (Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists, Canadian Psychological Association, 2017):
Respect for the Dignity of Persons
Integrity in Relationships
Responsibility to Society
We believe the dignity of persons is the driving force of our work and is safeguarded when we account for personal expertise and support an individual's unique capacities and talents.
We practice responsible caring and integrity in our relationships when we integrate our work with clients' unique experiences and expertise. We provide referral and resource/service coordination, alongside evidence-based treatment and holistic supports.
We celebrate our responsibility to society by optimizing the function of our citizens. We seek to challenge the status quo by encouraging new ways to engage, treat and support individuals and their networks.
Through our work together, clients can enhance mental health and learn to thrive through many forms of support. This may include a variety of individualized services (e.g., assessment, counselling, referral and service/treatment/resource coordination) and by availing themselves of the opportunity for meaningful engagement and ongoing online support.
How We Work
Many factors contribute to mental health and overall well-being. The brain is an amazing organ that works in concert with many other internal systems. Did you know the environment you live in and your social connections – your relationships - also affect brain health?
Our team at NeuroThrive Networks strives to protect existing capacities and support the development of new skills. We believe that timely, responsive intervention with appropriate support, with children/parents, adults and families, alongside appropriate support(s) can optimize brain/body health and personal resilience.
The team at NeuroThrive Networks empowers children, adults and families to discover their unique pathway to a thriving life. We collaborate with you to identify and capitalize upon individual strengths while identifying innovative solutions where there may be personal challenges. We believe this orientation fosters the ability of individuals to achieve satisfying mental health and well-being.
Focusing on customized free and fee-for-service support services, we depend on assessment, counselling, neurotherapies, neuro-wearables and an expanding network of community partnerships to support your goals. We believe that a flexible integrated view of the person in his/her life context encourages optimal well-being and a thriving life.
